I am the director of the ICS and a professor at the Department of Sociology of the University of Groningen.
Research projects
My research is part of TRAILS (TRacking Adolescents’ Individual Lives Survey) and the KiVa Antibullying Program. I coordinate a research group on the Social Development of Young People (WALM).
I have given my inaugural lecture on October 15, 2013. I gave a keynote at the Opening of the Academic Year in 2022.
